Lumohs Single-Use Scalpel

A single-use surgical cutting instrument with an integrated LED at the blade tip for improved intraoperative visibility. The whole device — handle, battery, and LED — is engineered to be cost-effective enough to dispose of after a single procedure while preserving the precision a surgeon expects.

Three coin-cell batteries, bayonet-mount blade interface, plastic body. Engineering covered concept, materials, prototyping, and production tooling.

Handle detail

A late-stage handle revision — geometry refinements driven by clinical feedback and assembly testing.

Lumohs Pro Reusable Scalpel

A premium-tier reusable surgical scalpel: a rechargeable, powder-coated handle paired with disposable sterile blade cartridges. The handle holds the LED, battery, and electronics — your own instrument across procedures — while each blade cartridge ships sterile and is discarded after use.

Designed for surgeons who want the lit-blade visibility of the single-use device with the feel and economics of a permanent instrument.

Light at the cutting edge

The Pro's signature: an LED housed inside the handle delivers light to the blade tip, illuminating the surgical field exactly where the cut is being made.

Premium Fitness Equipment

Industrial design and mechanical concept for a high-end strength-training machine intended for premium gym installations. Render-driven design exploration covering frame geometry, weight stack, cable routing, and finishes.

A representative example of pre-prototype concept work — the stage where a product idea becomes a believable visual brief for stakeholders and investors.

Bench and upper-frame detail — finishes, hardware, and proportional study.

WePlenish Smart Container

Internet-connected pantry container that tracks fill level and re-orders supplies automatically. Mechanical and product-design partnership with Zepto Industries on the consumer-hardware side of an IoT system.

Anchors our smart-hardware capability — the kind of project where mechanical, electrical, and firmware all need to land in the same enclosure at the same time.

DeltaMaker 3D Printer

Outsourced mechanical-design partner on this Kickstarter-funded delta-style consumer 3D printer — frame, motion system, and printed-part documentation.

An early example of the model still used today: serve as the hardware engineering department for a small team that doesn't need a full-time engineer on staff.

Frame and spool architecture

The aluminum-extrusion frame and rear-mounted filament spool that define the printer's footprint.

Build platform

Heated build plate and Z-axis motion system supporting the delta kinematics.

Quantum Imaging

Precision mechanical design and aerospace-grade fabrication drawings for shortwave-infrared (SWIR) imaging systems — detector housings, electro-optical assemblies, and lens-system mechanicals across the Mira, Mojave, and Vega platforms.

Tight tolerances, controlled documentation, and integration design across multiple product variants.

SCD-USA — IR Imaging

Precision mechanical design and aerospace-grade fabrication drawings for thermal-imaging systems across the MWIR, SWIR, and LWIR product lines — Contour, Panthera, Blackbird, Bird, Pelican. Detector housings, electro-optical assemblies, lens-system mechanicals.

Interface control documents, controlled-revision drawing packages, and integration design for the mechanical backbone of high-performance IR cameras.

Antique Replicas

Reverse-engineered replicas of mechanical antiques from a private collection — measured, modeled, and re-fabricated to original specification using a mix of contemporary CAD and traditional craft.

The most narratively rich engagement in the archive. The kind of work where engineering and craft converge.

Reference and CAD

A side-by-side of the original gondola and its CAD reconstruction — the basis for re-fabrication.

3D-printed prototypes

Shaker caps prototyped in 3D print before final fabrication — a way to validate fit and proportion against the original artifact.

Installed in the collection

The finished replica in its place in the collection — faithful in form, function, and material spirit.

Industrial Aquaculture

Comprehensive mechanical engineering for a commercial recirculating aquaculture facility — tanks, water treatment, biofilters, plumbing, fish-grading, structural retrofits.

Twenty-plus subsystems running from concept and CAD through fabrication drawings and on-site installation support.

East Coast Lightning Equipment

Production line drawings for a US manufacturer of lightning-protection hardware — air terminals, base assemblies, mounting brackets, and connection components.

Manufacturing-ready CAD documentation across a recurring product portfolio. Tight drawing standards and revision discipline on every release.

Top Gard Bollards

Detailed specification drawings of an existing bollard product portfolio — bolt-down, collapsible, and decorative variants for site protection at corporate, retail, and public-safety installations.

Reverse-modeling production hardware into accurate, presentation-ready CAD so sales teams have shareable specs and customer-service teams have the technical reference they need.

Collapsible variant

Access-control variant for fire lanes and service entries.

Decorative variant

Aesthetic site-protection option for retail and corporate installations.

American Fluid Power

Reverse-engineering legacy machined and cast components for a US manufacturer of tube-bending and flaring machines. Each part is measured from existing hardware, modeled in CAD, and re-issued as fabrication drawings.

The work supports continued domestic manufacturing of equipment whose original drawings have been lost or have drifted from current production.
